 Hello All,

I thought you might like to hear this.

RO and I were away in Dorset for a couple of nights recently.  On the way there we stopped to have a look at a National trust place.  One of the volunteers saw my Memorial Ride t-shirt and asked if we were bikers and if we had by any chance done the WB ride.  We explained our involvement in it.

It seems the lady lives right on WB High Street and she said that whilst you might think all those bikes going passed all day would be a nuisance, she would like to say a big thank you to the bikers for the respect they have shown to WB and to the fallen soldiers.  She particularly thanked us for our involvement in helping to organise things.

She mentioned that she noticed when soldiers were brought home, there were always bikes there to see them home and understands from a relative that the change in venue has made no difference, because the bikers just go to the new venue.

It was lovely to have someone go out of their way to speak to us and thank us for our efforts so I thought you would like to know that we and our fellow bikers are much appreciated.
